School Uniform

All learners are expected to wear the New Penshaw Academy School uniform. Please see below detailing the Pupil Dress Requirements for New Penshaw Academy.

We expect our pupils to wear a uniform for the following reasons:

• Ensures pupils are not put under any pressure because of the type of clothes they wear and all are treated equally
• Assists in building school and team spirit and sense of school identity.
• Presents a positive image of the school to the community.
• Encourages pride in personal appearance;
• Enhances identification and safety of pupils in school; and
• Resolves issues of “what to wear”
